Declaring My Intentions
I am currently undertaking some beautiful Sacred Circle Leadership Training with Sharyn Holmes from Gutsy Girl (if you are interested you can find out more here). This training is about running women’s circles in our communities, and has been deeper soul work than I expected from the course.
It still truly amazes me how, as women, we can support and encourage each other. When you surround yourself with those who are like minded and judgement free, it gives you the permission you need at times to follow where you are guided. This space which sees so much strength in being open and vulnerable, really has allowed some huge personal growth and shifts for myself over the last few weeks.
There have been so many topics discussed, and one little thread early on has had me thinking about my intentions with every aspect of my life. Connecting with our intentions is a really powerful way to create your life, rather than reacting to your surroundings. I have been asking myself, how do I want to show up for myself, for my relationships, for my job, and for Skyhigh & Believe? And those questions, stopped me in my tracks when it came to this blog space and to my online home. I realised that I never sat with myself, and connected with my intentions with this space I have created. Creating this blog was to tick one of those boxes you have to do to be a life coach. I am so incredibly proud of this space which has been created, however I launched this space, and then kind of got stuck in my thoughts, and was wondering now what?
I have realised the missing piece, was setting my intentions for this space. So I thought I would take a moment to declare my intentions with you.
My intention for this blog is to create a space to connect, motivate and inspire –
- Those who are on a journey of discovery who they are
- Those who need to believe in their selves
You see, I truly believe that the most important relationship in our lives is the one with ourselves, however we doubt ourselves so much, we are weighed down by what others think of us and expect of us, we are so busy everyday, that we neglect the most important relationship we have. The one with ourselves.
I truly believe that the biggest act of self-love we can show ourselves, is truly loving ourselves. The path of self love, is one which we are always building and working on, however to know who we are, to embrace who we are, we need to love ourselves unconditionally.
