Focus. Motivation. Dedication.
It is something I hear, perhaps you do too – I am not in the mood to …. (fill in your own blank).
I just don’t feel motivated today. It’s only one day. It doesn’t matter.
What is that makes a dedicated person dedicated?
I wonder if the motivated always feel like they want to?
My guess is not. Dedicated, focused people are just like you and I. They are human after all. Their desire to achieve their goal is just so deep in them, they don’t let their mood throw them off. I am sure they have down days, I am sure work gets to them, and I am sure they would just prefer to have a night on the couch, or a sleep in on the weekend.
But what they don’t want, is to miss their goal. And what they know is that action everyday is what gets them there.
So why do I write all this, because I want to ask you, what is that big burning goal you want in your life? That one thing that you just can not stop thinking about, it keeps nagging at you.
And what action are you taking towards to it?
This may seem like a very forceful approach, however the thing with action, is it can be anything you want it to be. It is lots of little things that we do everyday which has us create our life.
The motivation will follow the action.
Our daily actions are creating our future.
(Day Four: My focus for the month of April, is to blog everyday. I am setting aside 30 minutes at the end of the day to connect with my message to share with you. The idea behind this, is to limit the overthinking, to minimise the censoring and just to connect with a theme I would like to share for the day.)
